www.reddit.com/r/AskAstrophotography/co ... _stacking/
Hi! I’m the developer of AIT, so I can clarify a bit.
First, yes — the demo requires only an email because the installer is delivered through my licensing server. No payment information is required, and the demo is fully functional for testing.
Regarding visibility: AIT is a one-person project that I have been building quietly for over a year. I never pushed for marketing, reviews, or influencer exposure. The CloudyNights post and the Reddit thread were simply soft announcements — I didn’t want to spam communities.
As for “what does it offer beyond other tools?”:
AIT is not meant to replace Siril or PixInsight. It’s a suite of focused modules that automate very specific workflows:
• Live Stacking Pro with automatic star detection and registration
• TiltMap Pro with a unique 3-view diagnostic
• Mosaic Planner Pro with offline full-sky photographic tiles
• Gradient Hunter, Auto-StarMask Studio, Seestar Ingest, etc.
My goal is to provide fast, simple, practical tools, not a replacement for existing giants.
AIT is still new, and I prefer to grow it organically. I’m continuously improving the UX, adding features, and engaging with users who try the demo.
If you want to test the software, the demo is the best way — and I’m always open to feedback, questions, or feature suggestions.
Thanks for taking a look!
