Greetings. Many of you may know me from the Cloudy Nights forum. I have been watching your new forum with interest and I like what I see. But I have been reluctant to join because English is my only language. I am using Chrome as a translator. It works well enough for reading, but I do not know how it will work for posting. So this is a test. Please give me some feedback. Is it translating my post to French? If not, then is posting in English OK?

Welcome aboard Rickster.
Some of our crew speaks french, english, spanish, blabla....
Don't worry about the communication. We will try to write into a proper french, with less metaphore, to avoid mistranslation by google.
Have fun with us.

Hello Rick, nice to have u here, translation seems to work fine, and english is ok for me too !
Give a look to my last post in the section "Bar du visuel assisté", there is a friend of mine, in Kenya asking for help for a CGE PRO command unit, with a very good reward if u or another friend there can lend a unit to him for 2 weeks... May be these kind of mounts are more used in US than here in France...
And welcome in the "Visuel Assisté" community !!!

Hey Rickster,
I do know you from CN's EAA (or was it OAP) forum, where I often benefit from your experience. It's truly a pleasure and an honor to have you on board. As for the language, I guess most of us will either be able to read your posts directly in english, or use the Google Translate bar we added to the forum header. So posting in English is definitely OK!
I'm delighted to have people from other countries joining what I hope could become a "Babel EAA/OAP/whatever" forum (with some help from online translation tools, lest the place collapses

Hello Rickster!
First of all, thank you for the valuable input you regularly bring to CN forum, wherein i am also registered.
It is a great pleasure and chance to have you among us!
To create a connection between our little new but sparkling forum and participants from the giant Cloudynights forum, or other international astro/VA/EEA communities, is a great opprotunity to learn from each other and improve our practice....
Again, welcome here and enjoy!
